AMD/ATI wants to do something to make the lives of linux users easier? Pfft. I’ll believe it when I see it. I own a thinkpad, so I have to deal with the pathetic heap of bloatcode and useless crap ATI calls a ‘kernel module’. I gave up on their drivers and I use ubuntus native drivers. It means I cant play games or do cool video stuff on my thinkpad, but at least its USABLE.
