hey folks. I saw a *MASSIVE* jump in hits to thaum so I figured i’d post more..

So, westwood is basically quarantined off, but 4s seems okay. As I type this, I sit in my living room, bathed in orange sunlight shone through smoke. My place is safe, as are many here, but there were a few streets that weren’t as lucky.

I’m uploading my pictures to flickr as we speak, and I intend on going out later to get more pictures. I’m doing massive backups of the clients I host out of my house (yes, I still do webhosting out of my home - www.itkinetix.com), and packing up the rest of my ammunition. Somone reminded me that if firefighters have to deal with my house, it would be .. kind.. of me.. to make certain they dont explode. That would be bad.

So I went back for the remaining ammo, some data on external drives, and a couple small items I forgot. Turns out when I got here 4s aint bad off.

I wanted to get some goggles and a painters mask, but ace hardware in 4s was abandoned - same with the rest of that whole shopping center.

I feel like I’m driving around in one of those dawn of the dead movies, or resident evil. Crap blowing around the streets, the sun masked by smoke, stuff broken and flying around in the street.. and NO PEOPLE. its CREEPY.
