i'll admit that christmas to me isn't what it used to be, since my dad is in another state with his annoying girlfriend, visiting her annoying mother, and my mom is in a nursing home. my brother and i are here alone with my dad's tenant howard, who is an anti-social creep, so yeah. we will be having ramen noodles for dinner. but we did celebrate christmas yesterday, and all of our friends from maryland were here. it was fun. we opened gifts and had dinner together. and then we went to see my mom, and at about 20 past midnight on christmas morning, we opened gifts with her. and i was fucking happy.

and she was fucking happy. and everyone in the room was smiling. and it wasn't fake.

so fuck you unspirited goths who can't liven up a little fucking bit to be happy with your families during the holidays, or even visit them and say hello.

maybe it's stupid to be happy and loving only a few days out of the year, but i'm happy that i got to spend time with the people i missed being with when i moved to california.

not everyone is faking it.
