This was a first for me - I’ve never been invited to anything like this, but it was a lot of fun! Through me my friend Brad found out about the event (facebook), and he brought a crew of 8 or so. I was there with my friend Pete from work and from 7pm to midnight we fragged it up. I got spanked - a lot. I’m far far better with keyboard/mouse than I am with a controller - You just cant turn fast enough, and with the screen split four ways you have a very narrow field of view. That was okay though - free candy, beer, sammiches.. woot!
The funny thing was that out of 5-6 rooms with halo3 alive, they had one room with guitar hero 3. by 10pm, guitar hero 3 had sucked everyone away from halo and we were all participating in the guitar hero 3 championship!
